Daniel Cole observed and sketched wild birds from an early age and is now a full member of the Society of Wildlife Artists. He has travelled extensively in South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand honing his self-taught landscape painting skills. Dan now works in an artists’ complex with views over the river in Truro. His partner, Jilly Ballantyne also has a studio there. Tamarisk also holds some Giclée prints of Dan's work.
